We hold to an ongoing and strengthening of our relationships with other local churches as a working of the body of Christ together.
Beyond informal links and events we have two structured partnerships locally where we seek to achieve more than we could do ourselves.
Working locally with others
We partner with our two close neighbours in Cathcart – Trinity, Church of Scotland and Cathcart United Free Church – to form RADIATE CATHCART.
3 communities – a shared story
open to love, hope and joy
Our three church communities began working in 2007 with each other across our young people’s events and we have found encouragement, joy and huge creativity in working together across all aspects of being church in Cathcart.
We now work collaboratively across so many community based groups, events and activities, including renew/wellbeing, holiday clubs, dementia café, worship, young people’s activities, prayer, sheds, gardening, growing, making, supporting, enabling…all in the name of Jesus Christ, carrying his hope, and his love, given in resurrection.
If you would like to get involved in any of the individual stories of church or our joint work together just follow any of the links to websites or social media platforms – or ask around!
Hillpark High School chaplaincy
We partner with others in providing pastoral care and support to Hillpark Secondary School, Glasgow, enabling RO and celebration events, weekly Cosy Cafe games and hot chocolate for students and provide coffee mornings/home baking for staff on inset days.
